MUSIC MADNESS: “We Are The In Crowd” Profile

By Megan Hazelwood

This is a blog that is all about music. I’ll feature a different artist every week, review their music, reveal tour dates and post links to previews and show you where you can purchase their music.
There is a fun interactive element to this blog though: I want you, the readers, to suggest which artist you want to see featured in my next posts, using the comment section below! I will pick one artist from your suggestions to feature the next week. However, all suggested artists will be featured at some point.
The first featured artist this week is the alternative band from Poughkeepsie, NY-We Are The In Crowd.
We Are The In Crowd consists of Taylor Jardine (vocals), Jordan Eckes (guitar, vocals), Rob Chianelli (drums), Cameron Hurley (guitar) and Mike Ferri (bass). The band released their first full-length album, “Best Intentions,” on October 4, 2011. Some singles from the album include Rumor Mill and On Your Own.
We Are The In Crowd includes in-your-face, so-over-you rock songs, heartfelt ballads as well empowering anthems in their discography. Jardine’s vocals pack a powerful punch that are reminiscent of an edgier Kelly Clarkson. I recommend fans of Paramore check out this band, as their sounds and styles are similar.
The band is currently on tour, performing in the Southwest U.S. all throughout November. For a full listing of tour dates, chances to hear their music and purchase the album if you like what you hear, head on over to wearetheincrowd.com.
Don’t forget to suggest an artist for next week’s feature, in the comment section below!

Hi Megan,
i’m not sure whether you review non-American band but you should listen to what Kyoto Protocol, a Malaysian band, have to offer to the world
