TATTOO TUESDAY: LU Ink featuring Heather Borgman

Hey all, this week I decided to feature Heather Borgman and her lovely collection of body art.
Heather has four tattoos, three of which hold rather significant meaning to her.
Her first piece, which she calls “momma bear,” is most likely the most sentimental one on her body. It is in memory of her mother who passed away four years ago. Heather thought a bear was appropriate because her mom loved bears.
Whenever people ask what kind of bear it is, her response is always a casual: “any kind of bear you want.”
Heather’s second tat is of a tree, the Tree of Gondor, to be more specific. She and her best friend are major Lord of the Rings fans. They have matching inks of the Tree of Gondor design.
The latest addition to her collection, which is new and a little peeley, is of a simple paw print. What I like about this one is that she really just got it for fun, reflecting her easy-going personality. She adds, she got it because she “loves dogs more than people.”
It was while talking to Heather that I could see that these tattoos mean a lot to her, and the storytelling magic that tattoos create really came alive. One of the reasons why I think this form of art is so important; it’s a way of peering into a person’s soul by learning about what inspired
them to commit to something as permanent as a tattoo.
So, stay inspired folks!

Hey, just a typo maybe. Only three tattoos are discussed, did you mean to write three at the top, or does she have one you didn’t discuss?
She does have an additional tattoo that I did not include for spacial reasons. =]
